01Information we collect

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to improve the Site.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. These server logs help keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems.

Information stored on your device

Some tools remember your preferences, such as your chosen mode, frequency, volume or speaker layout, using your browser’s local storage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

02How our sound tools work

Our water removal, dust cleaner and sound test tools create audio in real time using the Web Audio API built into your browser.

Sound made locally

Every tone is generated on your device while you use the tool.

No microphone

The tools never ask for microphone permission.

No uploads

No audio files are uploaded and nothing is recorded.

Output only

Sound only plays through your speakers or headphones.

03Cookies

Visitors do not need cookies for our tools to work. Our website platform may set essential cookies, for example to keep site administrators logged in.

If we add analytics or advertising services in the future, those services may use cookies. We will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop our tools from working.

04How we use information

  • To run, maintain and secure the Site
  • To respond to your messages and support requests
  • To fix bugs and improve our tools
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

05Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, such as our web hosting and email providers, and only as needed for them to provide their services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or the Site.

07Data retention

  • Emails are kept as long as needed to answer your request and keep a record of our correspondence.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or rotated by our hosting provider.
  • Local tool settings stay in your browser until you clear them.

08Security

The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states such as California, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct or delete it
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a copy of your information

To make a request, email morgan@instantspeakerfix.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new tools or services. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
