Disclaimer
Our tools are designed to help with common speaker problems, but sound has limits. Please read this page so you know what to expect and how to stay safe.
The short version
- Use the tools at your own risk
- Sound cannot fix internal or physical damage
- Sound tests are a guide, not a certified measurement
- Start at a low volume and protect your hearing
- We are not affiliated with any device maker
- Contact a repair service if problems continue
01Use at your own risk
Our tools play sounds and vibration patterns through your device’s speakers or headphones. While they are designed to use normal audio at sensible volume levels, every device is different. You are responsible for choosing a safe volume and stopping if anything sounds wrong.
02No guarantee of repair
Sound-based cleaning can help move water droplets and loose dust that sit in or just behind a speaker grille. It cannot:
Dry the inside
Water inside a device or on its circuit board needs time and proper care.
Reverse corrosion
Damage from salt water, chlorine or sugary drinks needs a repair service.
Fix a broken speaker
A torn, blown or disconnected speaker must be repaired or replaced.
Remove sticky residue
Packed dirt or residue needs careful physical cleaning.
If your speaker stays muffled, distorted or silent after a few cycles, contact the device manufacturer or an authorised repair service. Using our tools does not replace professional diagnosis or repair.
03Sound tests are a guide
Our stereo, mono and surround sound tests rely on your browser, operating system, audio drivers and connected hardware. Some devices mix channels, apply audio effects or limit the number of output channels, which can affect what you hear.
The tests help you spot common problems. They are not professional audio calibration or measurement tools.
04Hearing safety
Loud sound can damage your hearing. Never place headphones or earbuds in your ears while running a speaker cleaning tool.
- Always start at a low volume and turn it up slowly
- Take breaks during long listening sessions
- Keep sound at a safe level around children and pets
- Stop immediately if you notice ringing, pain or discomfort
05Device safety
- If your device has been submerged, power it off if it behaves abnormally
- Do not charge a wet device until it is completely dry
- Never insert sharp objects into a speaker grille
- Do not use hair dryers, ovens or other heat sources to dry a device
- Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for your specific device
